In the Gospel of Matthew, 25 verses 1-13, we hear about 10 virgins who waited for the Bridegroom but only 5 were prepared with extra "oil" while the 5 who were unprepared sought to have some of the prepared virgin's oil. Pondering our preparedness for death is actually healthy and to act as Christ, our charity, mercy, and love will have us ready.
